Screams broke the night, screams from the very forest we had been chopping. Out of no where, the sky erupts with claws, beaks, teeth. The very trees themselves came alive, entangling us, wrapping us in their vine-like embrace. My last glimpse before I came to the afterlife was of a woman emerging from a tree, tears streaming down her face as she picks up a single acorn, and cradles it to her chest. I watched her beautiful face turn to one of utter rage, felt her anger wash over me as I was pushed into the earth, to my final resting place.
