Charles is the oldest son of the leader of a merchant house. He has spent most of his life traveling, pursuing the interests of his family. His grandfather was granted a minor noble title, but not lands. The family owns mansions in a few major cities and interests in many businesses and sailing vessels. Charles is a tall, sturdy man with shoulder length hair and a serious demeanor. He dresses in sturdy traveling attire, suited to his task and wears sturdy half-plate armor when moving into dangerous lands.. Many think him a common merchant, but he wears a silver medallion bearing the family crest. At his side hangs a a serviceable long sword and dagger, with he uses in tandem. He also carries a crossbow when traveling.
